The landslide which took place in Brebes, Central Java, on 22 February has buried dozens of houses, village roads, and paddy fields, with rising number of casualties. The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) joined the Indonesian Armed Forces, the National Police, the Regional Disaster Management Agency, and the National Search and Rescue Agency in operation to evacuate the landslide victims from the affected areas.
