SUMMARY:Workshop to review Mangrove Plantation - Disaster Risk Reduction project | 15-16 December 2015 | Hanoi\, Vietnam
DESCRIPTION:The Vietnam Red Cross Society organized the workshop to review the 5-year implementation of the Mangrove Plantation – Disaster Risk Reduction project on 15 and 16 Dec 2015. Over 5 years\, 108 ha of mangroves were planted and another 9\,000 protected in 205 communes of 10 provinces\, contributing significantly to climate change adaptation\, awareness raising as well as providing livelihood support.
